Building Democratic Communities Together

Public Achievement is Northern Ireland's leading youth focused civic education organisation.  Our work is build around our model of 'Civic Youth Work', and involves supporting young people to do real work on real issues in their communities.

We have a range of exciting projects working with young people in their communities, schools and in a range of other settings.  We work internationally with colleagues in conflicted societies around the world, and are also responsible for the award winning youth participation tool WIMPS - Where Is My Public Servant?

We are recruiting for our next Head of Social Media.  We are looking for a skilled journalist to join and lead our WIMPS team - helping take the project to the next level.
We are very pleased to announce that we will be hosting an international conference on young people and policing.  The ‘My City, Real World’ project is an initiative of the Open Society Justice Initiative and supports innovative youth-centred projects on young people and policing around the world.  This year’s event will be held in Belfast from 26 - 28th June.
