Building Democratic Communities Together

Registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland NIC 100422

Public Achievement is Northern Ireland's leading youth focused civic education organisation.  Our work is build around our model of 'Civic Youth Work', and involves supporting young people to do real work on real issues in their communities.

We have a range of exciting projects working with young people in their communities, schools and in a range of other settings.  Our main projects are the Away from Violence programme, and the WIMPS (Where Is My Public Servant?) project.  We also work internationally with colleagues in conflicted societies around the world.

We have a very easy way for you to support the work of Public Achievement.  It will only take you a few seconds to make a donation that will help us to engage with young people from tough social realities across Northern Ireland, and beyond.
We have a small number of places available to adults on our Active Citizens programme.  This is a project funded by the British Council in partnership with Public Achievement, and will give adults the opportunity to work together on a shared project whilst learning about active citizenship concepts.
